Why RuTube won't open abroad
RuTube blocks access by IP address. The platform sees you connecting from Germany, Israel or Kazakhstan — and turns you away. It affects everything: videos, channels, live broadcasts of state and news channels.
The problem is not your phone or your ISP. The site simply accepts requests from Russian IPs only.
How to restore access
You need a VPN with a server in Russia. Connect — and your traffic reaches the internet through a Moscow address. RuTube sees a Russian IP and serves the site as usual.
Important: ordinary free VPNs won't help here — their addresses have long been on the blocklists, and RuTube knows them. You need a service with clean, unburned Russian IPs and a modern protocol (VLESS or Trojan) that doesn't read as VPN traffic.
VPN Russia for RuTube
VPN Russia is tuned for Russian platforms:
- Servers physically in Russia; the IPs stay off the blacklists
- The VLESS protocol disguises itself as ordinary HTTPS — the site sees no VPN
- No traffic caps: watch live streams for hours
Step by step
- Install the VPN Russia app — iOS, Android, macOS
- Switch on the Russia server
- Open RuTube — videos, channels and live streams are back
